About Festida Foods

Founded in 1989 by Cuban immigrant Raul Vega, Festida Foods began as a tortilla chip manufacturer servicing primarily a regional retail market. In 2006, the company was purchased by Kyle Curtiss who set his sights on further developing private label and co-packing relationships with both regional and national brands. Now touted as a gold standard manufacturer, Festida Foods is known for raising the bar on quality and service.

In 2012, Festida Foods expanded its production capabilities and relocated into a spacious 155,000 square foot facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Union Station Industrial Park.
The new manufacturing space allowed Curtiss to add a high capacity production line, a state-of-the-art distribution system, and individual, on-machine seasoning.

With a concentration on quality, Curtiss also added team members in quality control, research and development, and marketing. The new facility also features expansive warehouse space and seven shipping bays.
